Hello to all the avid gardeners out there. We are gearing up for the show and events in early spring and the 2019 growing season. We hope you are as excited as we are. We will be out in full force and we hope you will think about your potato orders for the shows as we only bring potatoes for those who preorder.

We will be in Calgary, Stony Plain and Edmonton again and probably Sherwood Park if Brandie can find a suitable space. She is still looking so if you know of a suitable location that has cheaper rent and ample parking, please let her know or me and I will pass it on to her. IT was a good show last year, but apparently she cannot rent it again this year and we would love the gardeners to have a chance to experience a good seed event.

We are looking to the future on the farm and would like to open up the farm to families that want to have a farm stay. We are hoping to garner interest from people who want to experience life as it used to be on the farm, want to see wildlife in their natural state, and want to learn about self-sufficiency, gardening and growing their own food. We offer courses in canning and preserving, wild food foraging and mushrooming, candle and soap making, raising livestock, wild herb use and tinctures, as well as group healing sessions and yoga and meditation.

I am also offering opportunities for novice gardeners to learn about greenhouse gardening and putting in your first garden plot. We also offer seed saving and growing workshops, cleaning and harvesting seeds and night sky weekends, and electronics detox. weekends. We offer a clean, wild, open landscape, free from the noise and pollution of city life, filled with wildlife and lakeside views. We offer cabin space for those unaccustomed to camping or spots to park an RV and stay to learn.

Feel free to contact us directly about our courses, and you should know our email, but here it is smileyo
