Preorder call for Bedding Plants

Spring has sprung in the greenhouse!

We are taking preorders for bedding plants including flowers, herbs, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, and celery.  If your green thumb is not green enough, let us help you get a leg up on this years garden produce.  We will grow you what you need and have them ready for pickup and hardened off in time to go into the garden.  Plants are $4 each for all 4″ pots and $6 per 6 pack of flowers. Tomatoes will be in a 6″ pot and are $6 each.  Call ahead before Feb 15 to ensure we can grow them for you.  The varieties we will grow are beyond our current seed offering, so if you are looking for something specific, call 780-785-2622 to see if we have it or will grow it.

Also we are expanding the garden to offer produce at the local farmers markets.  We hope to be able to get into St. Albert and City Center.  We will keep you posted on our offerings and also check out anything else we sell on our hillanddalefarm.wordpress.com site.

We will be offering summer courses as well on gardening, composting, wilderness foods and foraging, growing grains and threshing, wild mushroom identification and tincture prep., starry night events, electronic detox. weekends, seed saving and harvesting vegetables among other things.  Keep posted for dates and times.  If you have a special interest, call ahead and email us to be put on the list.  It is a busy time of year and I get a lot of emails so if you don’t hear back within a week, please remind me.  Thanks everyone!
