Work Bee

Want to learn about mulching and strawberries? We are hosting a workshop to help restock the strawberry patch, plant some rhubarb and raspberries and other bedding plants starting on Saturday May 29 and 30th. We will gather and get to work and learn as we go. All levels of experience are welcome and if you come for 2 hours or the whole day that is great! We will learn about application of mulch, how it works, what kinds to use and what you can grow in it, and about weed control and identification and ways of dealing with them in the garden. We will learn about strawberry production and growing techniques.

Helpers will receive some plants in return if desired!!
