Every year we are involved in the Rural Roots Farmer Showcase at George Pegg Botanic Garden as part of Alberta Open Farm Days, held this year August 19, 2023.
It all starts with a farmer’s market where you will find fresh produce, meats, flowers, cider and distillery products, honey, artisan crafts and coffee, and many other goodies. There will be educational talks and walks to explore wild mushrooms, fire smart ideas to protect your home and property, building a cold frame demo, to name a few. The market runs from 10-4.
But the piece de resistance is our 5th annual farm to fork culinary event and outdoor concert! We start with this event at 5 and run til 9. World class food and entertainment are yours for a very good price. Tickets are on sale now at

Following the dinner, we are pleased to host Junos performer and well known singer-songwriter Martin Kerr who is rapidly gaining media attention locally.
