With all the rain, the mushrooms are blooming and so we will host this Saturday at our farm. Come with your all weather gear and rain or shine bush whacking preparedness. Here are the details. You MUST preregister! We will only run if we have 10 or more.
Mushrooming 201 – this is usually an advanced course ( part 3) for participants that have taken both online and practical 101 events, and wish to know more about medicinal mushrooms, their uses and tincture making. Since we did not have our beginner walk and talk we will encompass both in this day. But I am suggesting everyone purchase the $10 beginner viewing of the PowerPoint presentation before coming. Email me and we will set it up.
For the mushroom event, bring all your outdoor hiking and Bush whacking gear, a handheld 10x magnifier if you have one, water, sunscreen, bug spray if you want it (natural is best for you!!) a hat, and mushroom ID books recommended on the PowerPoint presentation. You will probably want to bring a small folding knife to work mushrooms free, small paper bags for separating samples, and a basket to collect in. Bring a lunch.
